Leonard Cohen, född 21 september 1934 i Montréal, Québec, är en kanadensisk sångare, låtskrivare, poet och författare. Leonard Cohen har sålt över 60 miljoner album världen över. Han har inspirerat en rad musiker, inte minst goth-gruppen Sisters of Mercy, som tog sitt namn efter en av Cohens kompositioner. Åren 1994 till 1999 tillbringade han i ett zenbuddistiskt tempel utanför Los Angeles, Kalifornien. Numera bor han i Los Angeles.
