Tigern som yindelen av symbolen Tai Qi

Tigern är världens största kattdjur. Finns bara i Asien. Namnet kommer från grekiskans ord tigris som syftar på djurets höga potentiala hastighet. Tigern är idag starkt hotad, av människan. För mig är detta djur en stor fascination. Skulle vilja uppleva detta vackra djur i frihet...

Tigern representeras i den kinesiska kalendern och är även Yin delen i symbolen Tai Qi.

Yin är det svala, mörka, tillbakadragande, återhållna. Det som inte hörs eller syns så mycket, men som fungerar som referenspunkt och kontrast åt det ljusa.
Yin premieras inte alltid, jämfört med det mer explosiva, aktiva, festliga och utåtagerande yang.
Varken av oss själva eller av andra. Det är mer lockande att vara i beteenden och energi som blir belönat och upplyft och högre värderat av omgivningen. Men kanske skulle det vara mer modigt och klokt, att kunna dra sig undan, gå ner i källaren, hämta kraft som inte syns, för att göra mer grundade val och fokuserade handlingar. Våga lämna partyt i den stora och breda världen, in i den mindre, nertonade.

Det finns tre låtar som har tema med Tigern som representant för känslor. Den första är The Eye of a Tiger med Survivor. Den andra är Roar med Katy Perry och den tredje är Tiger med Abba.
